Closed Accordion Stitch Ear Wrap

Looking for a quick, easy headband? The Closed Accordion Stitch Ear Wrap only take a couple of hours to create, but gives a cool chunky look that's different than the usual stockinette stitch.

This ear wrap is double-knit on the Purple Knifty Knitter Rectangular Long Loom (¾” gauge) using the closed accordion stitch. (If you’re unfamiliar with this stitch, it is fully demonstrated in the pattern.) The wrap uses approximately 55 yards, Wool Ease Thick & Quick super bulky weight [6] yarn. An elastic tie is knit right into the ear wrap, adding flexibility in sizing. The pattern includes a picture tutorial for casting on and binding off with the elastic hair tie.

Bonus Pattern included! I'm also including my Groovy Flower pattern which is loom knit on the 12 peg Knifty Knitter flower loom. (Note: the flower in the sample is simply a 1" ribbon made into a flower. It is NOT the Groovy Flower.)
