The yarn distribution between MC and CC is about the same, but I'd say I used slightly more CC than MC. The trim ate up about 30 g of black yarn. So, estimating the amount of fingering weight yarn for the shawl as pictured, you will need: -100 g of MC ( about 400m) - 60 g of CC (about 240-250m) You will also need short circular needles 3.0 - 3.5mm for the motifs, and same size needles on a long cord for the bottom trim only.
