Either way, it is a very easy, very comfortable fit for children! Easy on the knitter too, as it works up fast! From sizes 6 months to 6-7 yrs. This will only use from 4 to 5 ½ ounces of most kinds of worsted weight yarns! Use knitting needles US # 4 and # 7, for all sizes. The neck ribbing at top makes it easy to pullover heads, and yet gives stability to the shoulder area
