Product Description
Charlie hat and scarf is a simple, yet adorable design for a little boy or a little girl. The technique is simple, yet the construction and the pompoms make it a very special product that any child will adore! This scarf is another great developing project for a novice knitter. It introduces increasing, decreasing and holding of stitches. As you only work in garter stitch, it is easier to keep track of the shaping! Whereas the hat uses short row shaping and is worked sideways in segments so it is different and exciting to make!
Knitted on 5 mm straight needles.
Tension: 17 sts and 28 rows over 10 cm square using 5 mm needles in garter stitch.
Finished Measurements:
Scarf - Width 12 cm, length 60 cm without pompoms.
Hat - Length: 17.5 [20] cm (without pompom) Circumference: 37 [41] cm
