Changeover II

Changeover II is the 2nd patt in a 4 pattern ebook that I plan to publish.

Based on Changeover, Changeover II, besides changing over stripes, triangles, technique, shape and size, changes over to lace in between garter bands making it ideal for a changeover of season. The difference also is that this patt is a smaller asym scarf to begin with and changes over to be a med sized sym scarf and then a larger asym scarf-3 triangles/versions in 1.

The 1st triangle is knit using strategically placed incrs and decrs at both ends and then the other 2 triangles are added at the bottom using short-row technique. The entire scarf is knit only in garter on the bias.

Fingering wt yrns are ideal. The asym version can be knit using variegated yrn or self-striping yrn for the lace and a matching solid color for the garter portions. For the triangles at the bottom, the variegated or self-striping yrn used for the lace in the asym version work best.
