Celtic Cabled Mandala

Celtic Cabled Mandala pattern can be used in two different ways: to make a round purse or just a mandala which can serve as chair pad, table decoration or wall hanging. Please, read all the details about this design on my blog HERE.

Difficulty level: Advanced (or Advanced Intermediate). This pattern uses lots of front post stitches, and although they are not difficult themselves, their placement can be tricky. But there are tons of pictures in the pattern to walk you through every single round and stitch.

Materials: Yarn in one color, crochet hook of an appropriate size. I used 170g (4 skeins) of Bloom by Scheepjes and 4mm (G) crochet hook to make a bag. And 75g (2 skeins) of Soft Fun by Scheepjes to make each chair pad. But you may use more or less yarn depending on your gauge.

You will also need a zipper, 2 metal rings and a strap to make a purse.
