Cascade Anchor Bay is a soft blend of cotton and Superwash merino wool that comes in a range of solid neutral, pastel and bright colors. The cable-plied construction of Anchor Bay yarn makes it gorgeous to work with and gives your projects a strength and roundness with fantastic stitch definition. It’s lovely and light, making it perfect for spring and summer garments using 4mm or 4.5mm knitting needles or crochet hook.

Have not knitted with this yarn yet ,but found it very pleasant on the touch( smooth), will use n 4-5 US needles( I'm a loose knitter). Ordered color white o3, very nice elegant white, would call it more milk or soft white, not a cream.
I wish you carried more colors of Patton’s 100% wool worsted.

This yarn splits a bit because of the 50 % cotton but with the 50% merino it is a wonderful yarn for sweaters. I'm using this to make a sweater for my son who lives in Louisiana. I feel this yarn is a light DK.
