Product Description
The Carter hat is a unisex had made in ribbing with an Italian cast-on and decreases at the top that are incorporated into the rib pattern. The hat is worked in the round on 4mm needles.
You can choose whether to make the hat with or without a folded edge, and the pattern includes both versions. The brown Carter hat in the picture is made with a folded edge. The hat is one size fits all. It is worked in ribbing, making it very stretchy and therefore suitable for many different head sizes.
Knitting gauge
The Carter hat has a gange of 10x10 cm on 22 stitches x 23 rows on 4 mm needles in ribbing (k 1, p1) without being blocked. Gauge should be measured when the ribbing lies flat and is not stretched.
