CareAway Shawl

“Care-away Shawl” is knit from the tip to the widest part with increases at the edges and can be worked in any size until the yarn is used up.

The stitch pattern with lots of twisted stitches and interesting large holes is of my own invention.

Materials:* Dye Dye Done Yakalicious DK (60% Merino, 20% Yak, 20% Silk): 100g/ 231 yards 211 meters: 4 skeins or approx. 830 yards 760 meters.

* Sample is knit in colorway “Curcuma”.

* US 6 – 4 mm 32” 80 cm circular needles

* tapestry needle

**Gauge:**Texture Pattern repeat (40 sts x 40 rows) = 3.25” 8 cm x 4.5” 11 cm washed and blocked.
