If you prefer a longer infinity scarf style, you’ll need another skein as I used the entire skein of yarn for the size that I made. If you would like to make this cowl narrower, increase or decrease the stitches by a multiple of 4 plus 6. This particular size cowl is 4 X 10 = 40 + 6 = 46 stitches. In order to achieve the look of this stitch pattern, the project is worked flat and seamed at the end. Therefore, you decide the width at the beginning and crochet until the skein is gone or the cowl is the length that you desire. I could not achieve the same look when working in the round.
