Cardigan with Side Fastening Buttons

This sweet little side fastening cardigan is perfect from birth to 12 months - trim it up (or down) for any occasion!

Colour changes are optional and quantities quoted are for given lengths.

A cotton based yarn is recommended for summer wear.

Ages are given as a guide - where possible you should always obtain custom measurements for chest and length.

YOU WILL NEED 150-270 m double knitting (or light worsted weight) yarn, a 3.50 mm hook (or as necessary to meet gauge), a needle for neatening ends and 6-7 buttons - sized to fit through space between trebles on button band - the samples used 2.3 cm (7/8") diameter buttons stitched at every third row.
