Cactus mittens

Size: Adult

Yarn: Any fingering weight, 4ply (approx. 400m/100g) yarn. The sample shown was knitted in Filcolana Arwetta colors Disco green (250) and Snow white (100). In addition, you will need a bit of pink and darker green yarn for stitching the details of the cacti.

Yarn requirements: Approximately 28 g (about 1 oz) of white, 20 g (about 0.7 oz) of green. Additionally, a small amount of pink and darker green yarn.

Needles: Size 2 mm/ US 0 or according to your gauge. Recommended for fingering weight yarn is 2 mm-3 mm / US 0-2.5. In the sample mittens, size 2 mm/ US 0 was used for the ribbing, cuff, and thumb, and size 2.5 mm/ US 1.5 for the colorwork.

Gauge: Colorwork on 2.5mm/US 1.5 needles: 34 stitches = 10 cm(approx. 3,94 in)
