Adorable pattern for 18" Girl Dolls Cable coat, Mittens and Headband.
Coat and Headband knitted in double knitting wool, mittens knitted in 4ply . 18" will fit **** Gotz, Design-a-Friend, American Girl.
Knitted on size 4.00 mm, 3.25 mm and 2.75 mm needles. Easy to knit in simple garter stitch and basic cable.
Great to use up wool from your stash! Coat and headband take 100 gm double knitting wool. Mittens are made in oddments of 4 ply.
What little girl could want more for her doll?
My Grand daughter loves her 18"Girl Doll but she finds the fabric clothes cost too much to buy from her pocket money, (and difficult for little fingers to put on and take off!), so she asked her 'Knitting Nanny Mo' to design and knit some for her. This is the cable coat she asked for, plus mittens to keep her fingers warm and a cable headband because 'it's fashionable'. I hope you enjoy knitting this outfit as much as I did!
