Its worked in chunky yarn but could easily be made in 2 strands of DK to create a marled effect.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI've created this hat using my brand new British yarn called BareFaced. Its a glorious blend of British Wool and Baby Alpaca. Its ever so soft but has just enough bite to make the stitches pop and keep you warm of course. Its available only on my website at the moment and a couple of selected UK stockists\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eTry Cascade Eco wool as an alternative\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis hat is worked sideways, with a centre back seam and picked up ribbed cuff. The body of the hat is worked on larger needles and the rib in smaller needles for a snug fit.
