Bumpy Hat and Tube

Loose and cozy hat and tube. Fluffy, with a very, very soft and surprisingly light structure. Made for my girl, by her request.

SIZE. All hat sizes are included. From baby to large adult. The tube is not applicable for baby/toddler.

STITCHES and SKILLS. You should know basic stitches and basic Tunisian crochet.  You will learn a few clever techniques, a modified stitch and how to get the sewing blend in.

HOOK. 10mm, US N/15, UK 000. Long Tunisian hook or with cable for all hats bigger than 6 month.

YARN. Suggestion: Wool blend yarn like Mayflower Andes or similar. 210m/50gr or 230yds/1.76oz.

YARN USAGE. 

You need 2 colors.

• Baby/toddler: ½ yarn ball for brim, 1 for crown.
• Child: 3/4 yarn ball for brim, 1 for crown. 1/4 + 1 yarn ball for tube.
• Adult: 1 yarn ball for brim, 2 yarn balls for crown. 1 + 2 yarn balls for tube.
