Product Description
For the 2019 Handmade Ornament Exchange, my partner’s request was for black buffalo plaid. I made these ornaments to send her.
Materials: Small amount of lightweight yarn (I used a combination of Baby Bee Sweet Delight and I Love This Sport Weight from my stash), G6/4mm crochet hook, tapestry needle and 2.8" and 3.8" styrofoam balls (found mine at Hobby Lobby)
Yarn Alternatives: Vanna's Glamour, Berroco's Vintage DK.
In place of the styrofoam balls, you can stuff the ornaments, or you can use store bought bauble ornaments.
Time: I spent about an hour on the Medium size, and an hour and a half on the Large size.
Gauge: 16 HDC by 12 Rows = 4″
Abbreviations: SC, HDC, HDC2tog
*You will find a free version of this on my EyeLoveKnots blog, but this is the ad-free, printer friendly version, and the fee is to offset the loss in blog page views.
