Bucket hat - with a straight brim

This is a simple bucket hat pattern with two stand of worsted weight yarn held together on size J or 6.00mm crochet hook. This hat has a brim that is made so that it sticks out and doesn't gradually increase. This is a written pattern and includes the hat band and notes on how to make in between sizes. This pattern uses one round of front post single crochet stitches, and two rounds of reverse single crochet.
