Bright Bug Caterpillar Stacking Rings

This colourful caterpillar is full of fun for children. The body is made from knitted rings that stack over the body; use the rings as teething soothers for little ones, and as your child gets older play a stacking game for learning colours. This knitting pattern uses acrylic DK yarns and single pointed needles (work flat, not in the round). Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz caterpillar is 31cm long, and each ring measures 10.5cm diameter. For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
