Braided Cord Bag

This cute design for a braided cord bag is a perfect size to hold those essentials and looks chic at the same time. It’s a quick make and incorporates a number of crochet techniques to make it an interesting project. It’s worked from the bottom up and it’s seamless, which is always a plus. The base of the bag is worked in the Single Crochet stitch to give a dense base to the bag. The body of the bag is worked in the Half Double Crochet stitch. The Twisted Single Crochet stitch gives a beautiful rope-like edging to the bag and the handles are crocheted using the i-cord technique which gives a similar rope-like appearance.
