A pair of 10 mm straight needles

TENSION

10 sts and 13 rows to measure 10x10cm using 10 mm needles in stockinette stitch in double stranded knitting

(take two strands and use them as one strand when you knit )

ABBREVIATIONS

k : knit

p : purl

sts: stitches

k2tog: knit two sts together

k2tog tbl: knit two sts together through the back loop

kfbf: knit into the front of the stitch, back of the stitch then front of the stitch – this makes 3 sts.
