Construction Techniques

This hoodie is constructed using a bottom-up, worked-flat, seamed method — a traditional approach that many intermediate knitters will find familiar and satisfying. Working flat means each piece (back, left front, right front, and sleeves) is knitted back and forth in rows on a circular needle, then seamed together at the end using a tapestry needle. This technique produces clean, stable seams that give the finished garment excellent structure and longevity.
