Blossom Tree Tea Cosy

Bring spring to your teapot with the Blossom Tree Tea Cosy. The cosy begins with a textured grassy base, worked corner to corner in loopy stitch to mimic long, rough grass. The tree trunk and branches are supported with 4 mm clear boning, giving the cosy its height and shape. Each blossom is knitted individually and sewn on with citron yarn to form the stamens, creating a bright, cheerful canopy of flowers.

The finished cosy fits a medium teapot holding 6 to 8 cups. It is knitted flat on two needles in Stylecraft Special DK and uses double thickness yarn for insulation. The pattern is six pages long, fully written, and ready to download as soon as you purchase.
