Product Description
A Big Owl (10" tall), the perfect size for cuddling. Big Owl can be knitted as a stuffed toy or as a pajama case. Instructions for both are included in this pattern.
For an ADVENTUROUS BEGINNER knitter because the construction uses short row shaping (explained in the pattern) and a little bit of knitting in the round on dpns. Parts of the owl are knitted separately and then sewn on.
SKILLS REQUIRED Garter (knit) Stitch; Knitting in the round on double pointed needles; Short Row Shaping (fully explained in the pattern); K2tog
MATERIALS REQUIRED Approx 150 yds main color and 20 yds yellow Bulky weight yarn; US size 9 (5.5 mm) straight needles or size needed to obtain gauge; US size 9 (5.5 mm) double pointed needles; Colored felt for eyes; Tapestry needle; Fiberfill; Thread/Embroidery floss to sew on eyes; For pajama case, two 1” buttons
