Product Description
Bellamy mittens are designed to accompany the matching Hat. They feature a botanical theme of curved stems, seeds & seedlings, flowers, fruit/berries and leaves.
Designed to be a ‘stash buster’, you can use your little scraps of colour for the different elements - or choose a colour coordinated theme. Alternatively, go with just two high contrast yarns for a simplified version.
Materials
I used Shetland yarn for its amazing insulating properties and good range of colours available. I used a lot of colours but on the whole, only scraps of each colour are needed, so go through your stash and see what you have! I used about 30g - 35g of my background colour (Jamieson & Smith Supreme) and about 25g of my contrast colours in total (mostly Spindrift).
You can use your preferred 4 ply but the sizing may be a little different.
Sizing
They will fit an average 7.5" hand - or change needle size to adjust.
I have also included basic instructions on how to adjust them to make fingerle
