Supplies: Yarn and hook: worsted /aran yarn (brand of your choice) and a 5 mm hook (UK6) (US8/H) for the bear DK yarn for the snout and sport yarn along with a 3 mm hook (UK11) (US3/-) for the bow. (I did not have appropriate yarn so I tripled Madam Cotton yarn to gain the right weight for this project.) Also needed: 12 mm safety eyes and a nose, tapestry needle for weaving ends, sewing needle, and scissors. Stitches: chain (ch), stitch (st), skip (sk), slip stitch (sl st), half double crochet (hdc), double crochet (dc), dc5tog. American terminology used.
