This pattern was first published in Home & Country magazine Sept 1990,the article was called Animal Magic Country Almanack Knitted Animals. We have included a picture of the Barn Owl as featured in the original Home & Country magazine .

We decided that Mr Barn Owl deserved a fresh look and so took new pictures  He still looks great doesn't he! This is exactly the same pattern as featured in Home & Country but the designer & myself have given it new updated pictures. Georgina Manvell & Suzannah Holwell now work in partnership as designers with shared copyrights (1990 & 2010) under the business name of The Old Toy Knitting Shop
