Avery Bonnet

This bonnet is knitted in one piece, from front to back, starting with back & forth knitting, then joined and worked in the round, with the back closed by switching to double point needles.

The stitch used is an open "wheat ear" style cable, with twisted rib edging. Straps are added by picking up stitches and working an i-cord.

Sizes: Up to 1 month (0-6m, 6-12m, 1-2yrs)

Needles: 4.00mm (US 6) & DPN 4.00mm (US 6) to close back, plus cable needle.

Yarn: DK 50g x 1 (1, 2, 2 ) balls
