Looking for a twist on the Messy Bun/ Ponytail Hat? This stylish and unique messy bun hat features the wicker stitch brim. The brim is knit first in rows. Stitches are picked up along the edge to work the seed stitch top. The wicker stitch brim gives this hat good ear protection!
This pattern comes along with a video with instructions how to knit this hat. This includes how to knit the wicker stitch. So, if you need any help, there is instructions at your finger tips! Link is included in the PDF.
This hat was designed with Rowan Superwash worsted weight wool. However, any worsted weight yarn will work.
Amount of yardage required: 90 (120, 150, 170, 190, 210) yards
You will need a tapestry needle, round marker and buttons.
