I moved to Shetland from the Scottish Mainland just over a year ago and although I do miss family and friends, I don’t miss town life at all. One thing I do miss however is the woodland and trees we were surrounded by in beautiful Perthshire. This beanie was inspired by the colours of the Perthshire woodlands in Autumn and by skeleton leaves which I’ve always been fascinated by. The name comes from a song by one of my favourite bands.

This beanie can also be used as a wearable swatch for my Autumnsong Sweater pattern as they are both knitted to the same gauge, ideal for trying out your own colour combos!
