Product Description
Suitable for beginning lace knitters, the Ascend cowl is much easier to knit than it's graceful appearance belies. A ribbing border flows easily into an adaptation of a traditional Estonian stitch that spirals up around the cowl naturally using only the simplest of lace elements.
Worked in the round from the bottom up, with an easy-to-memorize stitch pattern (presented in both written and charted forms), from a chunky, quick-knit yarn, the Ascend cowl is a fun and satisfying project.
If you are a more advanced lace knitter then (shhhh) you don't have to tell anyone how easy it was to make!
