Product Description
“Artemisia” is a triangular symmetrical shawl knitted from the center outwards. It is designed in two colors for a fingering weight gauge.
This shawl is available in 3 different sizes, so that you can knit your “Artemisia” shawl to your preferred size.
The pattern provides fully charted and written instructions.
The main body of the “Artemisia” shawl is created out of knits, purls, 3-st cables and by playing with increases and decreases. After a transitional section, the second color is introduced to form a simple stripy eyelet border for the playful floral-inspired lace motif. The contrasting picot edge adds a final touch to this botanically inspired shawl.
“Artemisia” is designed to use Nutiden unspun held single. But you could also add a strand of lace silk-mohair for more stability or use any fingering weight yarn in case you want to substitute.
Gauge: 18 sts x 31 rows / 4 x 4 inches in main cable pattern (=section 1 repeat); blocked and dried
