Aran Weight Patchwork Cardigann

A new patchwork cardigan pattern designed to use up your stash of yarns. This pattern features four sizes so you can make a cardigan with the fit you want It is knitted up to an aran weight on 5.5mm needles. You can achieve the desired weight simply by using any aran weight yarn, or if you prefer to create your own colour blends, use a DK weight yarn worked double.

For the sample cardigan I used Rowan Felted Tweed yarn. The design needs between 800-1000 metres of yarn to complete. Let your creativity take over and choose your favourite colour schemes. This design came about after requests for a lighter, neater design to the Festival cardigan, which has been such a popular pattern.

The pattern contains charts and instructions for four different sizes giving a simple classic shaped cardigan.
