Apatite is a gemstone that looks similar to tourmaline in its blue green form and comes in yellow, green, pink, purple, violet, clear, and cat's eye. The yarn I used reminded me of minerals and this gemstone.
Yarn : 100 grams/437 yards of fingering weight yarn. Sample knit in: Lolo Did It Awesome Sock in The Breakfast Club Colorway
Needles : US 0/ 2.00mm - 32" cable for Magic Loop, but you could use whatever method you like for small circumference knitting.
Gauge : Approx 8-9 sts per inch in stockinette.
