AnVilla is a basic sock pattern to help you explore fit issues and the afterthought heel. The advantage of the afterthought heel is most obvious when you have limited yarn or a nice self striping yarn that you like to match. Knit the heel at the end in a contrast colour.
Knit in the round from cuff to toe. Easily alter the leg length to suit the wearer’s preference. The pattern includes instructions for both a short and mid calf version.
There are instructions for 5 sizes, accommodating a range of foot and leg circumferences.
Working components in different colours makes this pattern perfect for using up sock yarn leftovers.
