Animal Bags

You have a choice of 4 different animals to pop on the front of bags for children. Each of these cute little characters is peeking over the garden wall. These bags are easy to make and are just the right size for young children to carry. They will hold small books, small toys, sweets and small Easter eggs. Children will have great fun filling their bags with their own special things. I have several patterns for small bunnies, bears and dolls. Each would be the perfect size to pop into one of the bags.

BAGS: 18cm x 18cm (7’’ x 7’’).

YARN: DK (double knitting) yarn (USA - light-worsted/Australia - 8 ply).

NEEDLES: Animal heads are knitted on two straight 3.25 mm needles (US 3). Bags are knitted with two strands of yarn knitted as one and require two 5mm needles (US 8).

SKILLS REQUIRED: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, increase, decrease.
