What is Being Made

The reversible pattern created through alternating knit and purl stitches ensures the snood looks polished from all angles.

Knitting Techniques

This pattern employs circular knitting, which means you will be knitting in the round rather than working flat. This technique eliminates the need for seaming, resulting in a seamless, professional finish. The circular construction creates a continuous tube of fabric that drapes beautifully around the neck and shoulders.

Note that chunky weight yarns can vary in thickness between brands, so gauge testing is recommended before beginning your project.

Needles: You will need 8mm (US 11) circular needles to work this pattern in the round.
