Amigurumi Jack the Hermit Crab

Hermit crabs are usually spotted hanging out in beach-side souvenir shops... but now you can have one that you really cuddle! Jack is 6" tall, and has a 17" wide clawspan.

To complete this pattern, you will need: * 3 colors of worsted weight yarn, Spud & Chloe Sweater used in sample (160 yards/skein), less than 1 skein required of blue, red and white * a size H (5.0mm) crochet hook * a few handfuls of stuffing * 12mm black animal eyes * tapestry needle

This pattern is an intermediate level pattern: it requires moderate shaping (increases and decreases) and is mostly single crochet.
