Product Description
This design is a part of The Sun and Fog collection. In the days when we all could use a uniting crafting project, local yarn dyers and designers came up with a special collection of knit and crochet designs celebrating community and togetherness from the foggy shores to the sunny valleys of California.
Inspired by Italian almond lace cookies, this design is similarly addictive and crisp. Full of texture and open lace patterns, Almond Shawl is embellished with bobbles, and optional tassels can be added for an extra touch of boho.
The shawl is completed in a V-shape and uses up just two skeins of fingering weight yarn (approx. 500yds / 457m each). Alternating stripe patterns keep you entertained and are very satisfying to crochet. You can change the length of a shawl to adjust to a different yardage by repeating/skipping some of the stripes.
The pattern contains both written row-by-row instructions (with detailed stitch counts) and charts.
