or you can work the scarf until it reaches your desired length.

gray: 1 ball Pascuali Cashmere 6/28, 25g, 112m (122yds)

or any other yarn you like

short circular needles or DPN 3,5mm (US4)

or another needle size to obtain gauge

with 3,5mm (US4) worked in pattern for main part, washed and blocked.
