Airish Shawl

It's a little bit airish today. You might want a big shawl to wrap around yourself.

Airish is a word used in Appalachian English, meaning ‘chilly’ or ‘breezy’. I can hear my grandmother’s voice in my head telling me to put on a jacket because it’s airish, and it’s where this shawl gets its name.

Three different lace patterns merge and flow into one another to make a large, lacy, top-down triangular shawl.
