Product Description
A Warm Place is a large, two-color triangular shawl knitted on the bias. Sections of garter stitch alternate with simple slip-stitch sections with a garter stitch background, making this shawl an easy and relaxing knit.
The shawl was designed for worsted weight or aran yarns. For my original sample I used the lovely Big Merino Hug by Rosy Green Wool.
My shawl is quite big, but you can decide to make it smaller (or larger! - resizing instructions are provided).
SKILLS REQUIRED: Knit, Slip stitches, Increasing (yarn over), Knit through the back loop
YARN: Rosy Green Wool Big Merino Hug (100% Merino Superwash, 175 yds/ 160 m per skein), aran 3 skeins in color A, shown in Treasure Chest 3 skeins in color B, shown in Pastel de Nata
For my original sample I used all three skeins of color A (480 mt/525 yards) and about 2.5 skeins of color B (400 mt/437 yards)
