491 Crochet socks, new method heel first

CROCHET SOCKS, STOCKINGS, NEW METHOD, HEEL FIRST!!

CROCHET PATTERN, This is a pattern and not the finished item.

I have just put the finishing touches on my newest socks pattern, which is worked from the heel first! New method!!! And I think this is the easiest method by far for making socks!!

I have step by step photos in the pattern. Very easy to do.

You can use worsted weight yarn, or sport yarn, hook sizes from 4.5 up to 6.5. Sport weight yarn and a small hook will result in a finer weight sock. Worsted weight will result in a heavier weight stocking.

Two choices of tops on the stockings... crochet right up to the top as shown in the turquoise blue sock. or finish up with a cable/rib stitch.

Cute... and a great way to use up bits of yarn!
