1:6th scale vest and petticoat

To fit a 29 cm/11-½ inch tall doll such as Barbie.

NOTE: The vest would not fit my Curvy Barbie, as it was not wide enough to pull over her hips and get her arms in, and with a bent arm it was impossible to get the vest over her head, but the petticoat did fit

NOTE: Can also be worked as outerwear (summer skirt and vest top)

Materials required

One pair 1.50 mm knitting needles; No 12 crochet cotton or No 10 crochet cotton: Vest - 40 metres; Petticoat - 50 metres; Skirt - 60 metres; 50 cm x 2 mm silk ribbon (optional).

Finished sizes

Vest – side seam 5 cm/2-inches; chest 5 cm/2-¼-inches. Petticoat/skirt - 9.5 cm/3¾-inches long; 5 cm/2-inches at waist

Gauge

Worked over stocking stitch: 8 rows = 1 cm and 5 stitches = 1 cm
