Materials requiredOne pair of size 1.50 mm knitting needles (use 2.00 mm needles for Broad Ken or heavier built doll bodies); 60-80 metres/65-87 yards No.10 or No.12 crochet cotton; 3 small buttons or beads, 5 stitch holders or safety pins.

Approximate finished size: Using 1.50 mm needles Neck to hem - 9.25 cm/3½-inches; Sleeve seam – 2.5 cm/1-inch; Width across chest – 7 cm/2¾-inches.Using 2.00 mm needles Neck to hem - 8 cm/3-inches; Sleeve seam – 8 cm/3-inches; Width across chest - 7.5 cm/3-inches.

Gauge: Using 1.50 mm needles - 18 rows and 12 stitches = 2.5 cm/1-inch over stocking stockinette stitch Using 2.00 mm needles - 16 rows and 11 stitches = 2.5 cm/1-inch over stocking stockinette stitch
