Product Details
I love playing with lace patterns. The look is so feminine and yet complex-- really makes you look like such an expert. But don't tell them, it's not that hard!
Materials needed for this scarf: 550 yds DK weight yarn. ( 11 wpi ) I used Bergere Merinos 4, 4 skeins.
7, 4.50 mm knitting needles.
2 markers. Pattern is entirely in both row by row written and charted instructions.
This yarn is one that I have really come to enjoy working with. It has a very soft yet substantial feel, and does well with blocking--it keeps its shape to show off the display of lace. In my hands, it feels more like a #4 weight than a #3. Length can easily be adjusted through the 28 row pattern repeat. Using a finer weight yarn, the pattern repeat can easily be increased by adding 15 stitches per each repeat for desired width.
