"Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall, all you have to do is call...” by James Taylor was going through my mind while I designed this scarf. I wanted to design a scarf that could be crocheted in a warm wool yarn for Fall and Winter, and a soft, light cotton/linen yarn for Spring and Summer.
I also wanted a scarf that is light and airy and not just row after row of heavy single or double crochet stitches. This scarf is just that! It’s light and soft and squishy and bouncy, and it’s quick to crochet. Make it for yourself and make one for a friend!
The You've Got a Friend scarf is crocheted lengthwise, with tapered ends and has a fun crocheted pompom edging. The length enables you to wrap and tie it any way you want. The combination of the open stitches and fingering weight yarn produces a very lightweight scarf.
