Though this design was created to celebrat the Chinese Year of the Dog in 2018, every year is a good year to knit warm blankets for dogs and cats! Every year also is a great year for giving back by making something both for our own fur kids and those who are still awaiting their Forever Homes in the arms of rescue agencies.
These afghan squares are focused on the woodland creatures and nature around us. With a 'plain' square to fill in the blanks, these will be colorful blankets for dogs and cats.
These squares use various knitting techniques. Knit them all or choose your favorites to include in your project.
This is a fun way of giving back to those rescue agencies that have provided us with our feline and canine companions.
