- short rows for shawl BUT no wrap and turn
- skillset: knit, purl, slip stitch, knit/purl stitches together
- shawl is knit back and forth
- headband is knit in the round; only 1.5 ounces of yarn needed; remnant amount of contrast color
- all directions are written/ no chart reading required
