Brioche knitting can be so surprising! You are knitting a pattern on the Right Side and another pattern on the Wrong Side . Considering that straight brioche knitting is not a pattern, this pattern has only one (1!) pattern round. So the WHEATandCHAFF pattern is a real one-round-wonder which gives you a two-in-one pattern! That´s so much fun!
This cowl was knit in a two-color brioche stitch pattern, repeating one single pattern round and straight brioche knitting. Brioche stitches are forming hearts, owls, tiny chevrons, leaves or whatever your eyes would like to see.
The black and white sample was knit with a heavy worsted weight (aran) yarn, using one skein of each color. Pattern is written for two sizes. When applicable, directions for S/ M sizes are written in parentheses as follows: S (M ).
