Good service after purchase
This wool felt harsh and scratchy. I was disappointed because that’s not how it was described I’ve the website implies it’s soft. I think it says it’s suitable for blankets but I don’t think it is at all.

I really really like this yarn. One of the "longwools", it has a beautiful shine, it is strong, and has a fuzzy halo reminiscent of mohair (but not as much). Pleasant to knit with, it does full a little bit with the first wash. Beautiful range of colours - I ended up buying it in Amber, Jet, Granite and Moonstone. It is a DK weight and I am knitting it as such, but it does feel a little bit "thin", but I think this is rather typical of Wensleydale. I think it would also make a very good...
I am really liking this yarn. It does feel closer to a sport weight than to DK - with 4mm needles I get 23 stsx32 rows, which is slightly denser than the tension indicated on the label, but I am happy with the resulting fabric. It keeps the shine when knitted up, and also a slight halo. It has good stitch definition while being drapey, though I can imagine that a loser tension might lose the definition a bit. I have bought dress quantities of this, as Wensledayle is a tough fibre that won't...
Wensleydale Gems is such a soft yarn and such beautiful colours
Real easy to knit with the long staple fibre means that if you have to undo re-knit the yarn holds its shape! Vibrant jewel-like colour range. 👍🏼
I use the wool to knit hats for premature babies. The wool is all natural (I know the breed of sheep it comes from). The yarn is so soft with a silky feel. The colour pallet is truly beautiful.
Oh I`m in love with this yarn . Have`nt started knitting yet but can`t wait . It`s so soft and light with a slight sheen to it and the colour is so vibrant . Just what I wanted
It worked up beautifully both knit and crochet swatches. I am planning on using it in an entrelac scarf.
